As an additional bonus, you may discover some well-deserved peace, joy, and inner calm for yourself as well. Ginger tea will be served following the concert and meditation.

Suite Journey at Dichotomy from 8 - 10 pm! We'll have Cd's, download cards and other merchandise for sale like our custom made prayer flags to add positive vibes for the year ahead!
The Dichotomy space is a finely detailed mix of modern and vintage. Housed in a renovated storefront in historic downtown Waco, Dichotomy pays homage to the space’s past with gaps of exposed brickwork in the wall and 1-inch hexagonal floor tiles like those from the shop’s past.
Pink marble that once adorned the central library downtown makes up the outdoor table tops. The indoor tables were created by a local artisan wood crafter and the walls feature work by local artists and designers. Upstairs, patrons enjoy the first public rooftop deck in downtown Waco. Bike racks and lockers near the door are a nod to Dichotomy’s bike-friendly nature. The shop also sponsors two cycling teams.

This month we welcome Carl Alberty and Angela Dorsey (Carl & Ang) to join us in making plenty of great music to tickle your ears! The coffee, chai, beer and cocktails will tickle your tastebuds at the same time!
Playing on behalf of Symphony of Soul for the lovely folks in Independent Living! Love this gig!
This Deep Relaxation Sound Meditation will feature Tibetan bowls, Celtic harp, Native American flutes and a guided meditation.
Our intention is to bring some peace into our midst during this stressful time, and to raise funds for our Nepali friend, Lama Sonam. You can read about Lama Sonam and see photos of his village (the epicenter of the 2015 earthquake in Nepal) on our blog to learn more about why we are working to help out and asking for your assistance.
This concert is a very special opportunity for you to extend your generosity during this winter season, enabling us to provide Lama Sonam’s village with all that we can as the worst part of winter settles in up in the Himalayas.
And you may discover some well-deserved relaxation and inner calm for yourself as well, a soothing balm during this most stressful time of year. Ginger tea will be served following the concert and meditation.

Join us in Wimberley, a very special place, for this unique, exciting and inspiring house concert featuring Suite Journey (Billie Woods and Deborah Schmidt) and Mariénne Kreitlow!
Escaping the heart of Minnesota winter, Mariénne Kreitlow will perform signature songs that contain the juiciness of life, from the quirky to the sublime. Find out how ice fishing leads to love making, meet a lovelorn vampire, hear icy images propelled by tropical rhythms along with intricate art songs and re-imagined folk classics from her latest CD, ‘Like Noah's Dove’. Artfully accompanied by Jeff “The Buff” Stocki of Wimberley, Texas, on fretless bass. Check out her website, www.marienne.com, to get a better glimpse of Mariénne’s many talents. Here’s what critics are saying:
“Joyfully sensuous.” ~ Dirty Linen
“Beguiling.” ~ Minneapolis City Pages
“An unassuming gem.” ~ Boston Globe
Suite Journey (Billie and Debbie) will be performing songs from their new album, ‘TIBET Land of my Tears’; music inspired by their extraordinary pilgrimage to Tibet. Their lyrics and melodies convey the journey’s emotional landscape: everything from elation and joy to dark, lonely despair. Their goal is to shine a light on Tibetan’s daily oppressive circumstances and vanishing culture. They donate 50% of their merchandise sales to benefiting Tibetans. Add a few eclectic originals and 2 sassy women, and you have the genre-defying duo of Suite Journey. They will also be accompanied by Jeff “The Buff” Stocki on fretless and standup bass. To learn more visit suitejourney.com.
“TIBET Land Of My Tears was a beautifully unique and captivating experience, pleasant and inviting all the way through.” ~ Jer @ Sleeping Bag Studios
“Suite Journey is one of the most compelling and fascinating duos I’ve ever seen in independent music. They’re absolutely special, and so worth your time …. they both possess such exciting voices and they harmonize fantastically.” ~ Brett Stewart, Tilting Windmill Studios
